Traditional European Naturopathy

In my practice, I work on the basis of Traditional European Naturopathy (TEN). It is intended for people with functional complaints, exhaustion or recurring symptoms who are seeking an individual and holistic form of care.

TEN does not view the human being solely through symptoms or diagnoses, but in relation to constitution, life situation, emotional strain and vegetative processes. Symptoms are understood as indications that the inner balance has shifted.

Naturopathic treatments can usually be reimbursed through supplementary health insurance. Further information on cost coverage can be found here.

Regulation instead of symptom treatment

At the core of TEN lies the understanding of the body as a self-regulating system. The aim of treatment is to support the body’s regulatory capacities and to create conditions in which stability and adaptability can re-emerge.

An essential element is the humoral perspective, which considers the individual constitution within the dynamic interplay of warmth and cold, dryness and moisture, rhythm and balance. This perspective allows therapies to be tailored in a targeted and situation-specific way.

Therapeutic approach

Depending on the individual situation, I combine different naturopathic methods such as phytotherapy, aromatherapy, spagyric remedies, regulatory nutrition approaches, elements of lifestyle guidance and manual therapies. The methods are not applied schematically, but are adapted individually to the current condition.

It is important to me not to overburden the body, but to accompany it attentively and to support its self-regulation. TEN provides a clear and comprehensible framework that is traditionally rooted and at the same time contemporary.

Treatment Areas

  • Psychological and mental regulation: stress, exhaustion, burnout, sleep disorders, mood swings and mild depressive states
