Connective Tissue Massage

Connective tissue massage is a reflex-based massage technique that works on the connective tissue using specific pulling and shifting stimuli. It has a regulating effect on functional complaints and may positively influence tension in the musculoskeletal system as well as autonomic reactions.

The treatment is usually performed as a partial body massage. Techniques, intensity and treated areas are individually adapted to the client’s condition.

  • Usually performed without oil

  • Treatment of defined connective tissue zones

  • Functional disorders of the musculoskeletal system

  • Back pain and muscular tension

  • Chronic tension

  • Circulatory disturbances

Contraindications

  • Acute inflammation or fever

  • Acute skin conditions

  • Severe heart, vascular or circulatory diseases

  • Internal bleeding

  • Acute rheumatic flare-ups
