Massage within the framework of Traditional European Naturopathy (TEN)
Manual therapies are an integral part of Traditional European Naturopathy (TEN). In my work, I do not use massage as an isolated wellness or relaxation offer, but integrate it situationally and purposefully into a holistic naturopathic approach.
Massage can have a regulating effect on muscles, connective tissue, circulation and vegetative processes. Depending on the situation, it may serve relaxation, relief, the support of regulatory processes or the accompanying work during therapeutic phases of change. The focus is not on the technique itself, but on its effect within the given context.
Which manual therapy is appropriate is determined by the individual concern, constitution and current condition. The selection is not schematic, but part of a coordinated therapeutic process that may also include other naturopathic methods.
In this way, manual therapies become a supporting element within TEN, fostering bodily processes, enhancing perception and accompanying therapeutic development in a meaningful way.
