Eliminative methods
Eliminative methods are an integral part of Traditional European Naturopathy (TEN). Their purpose is to support the body’s natural processes of elimination and regulation in a gentle and non-straining way.
In everyday life, the organism is exposed to a wide range of influences, such as stress, environmental factors, nutrition or inner tension. When burdens cannot be adequately processed over a longer period of time, this may affect the body’s internal balance. Eliminative methods address this situation in a careful and targeted manner.
They are always applied individually and adapted to the current condition, constitution and resilience of the person. The aim is to support regulatory processes and to create relief without placing additional strain on the organism.
Eliminative methods may be appropriate in cases of persistent fatigue or exhaustion, states of tension, a feeling of inner heaviness, slowed regulatory processes or the wish for gentle relief.
Depending on the situation, different approaches may be used, such as cupping, eliminative massage techniques, spagyric or herbal support, as well as supportive measures related to nutrition and lifestyle.
The focus is not on rapid “detoxification”, but on a gradual and respectful support of the body’s own processes. Eliminative methods are therefore often integrated into a holistic approach and combined with other naturopathic therapies.
